a wedding vow
"Today's the day my life begins. All my life I've been just me. Just a smart mouth kid. Today I become a man. Today I become a husband. Today I become accountable to someone other than myself. Today I become accountable to you. To our future. To all the possibilities that a marriage has to offer. Together, no matter what happens, I'll be ready. For anything. For everything. To take on life, to take on love. To take on possibility and responsibility. Today Izzie Stevens, our life together begins. And I for one can't wait."

Social Capital
Social capital refers to connections within and between social networks. It shares the core idea "that social networks have value". It is the collective value of all 'social networks' and the inclinations that arise from these networks to do things for each other.
In simple terms, social capital is the value of your friendships and the amount of support and help you can get should you require.
right the wrong
"As doctors we can't undo our mistakes, and we rarely forgive ourselves for them. But, it's a hazard of the trade.
But, as human beings we can always try to do better. To be better. To right a wrong. Even when it feels irreversible. Of course, I'm sorry doesn't always cut it. Maybe because we use it so many different ways. As a weapon. As an excuse.
But, when we are really sorry, when we use it right. When we mean it. When our actions say what words never can. When we get it right "I'm sorry" is perfect. When we get it right, "I'm sorry" is redemption."

nothing is in vain
"If there's a crisis, you don't freeze, you move forward. You get the rest of us to move forward. Because you've seen worse. You've survived worse, and you know we'll survive too. You say you're all dark and twisty. It's not a flaw, it's a strength. It makes you who you are."

"When you're little, night time is scary because there are monsters hiding right under the bed. When you get older, the monsters, are different... self doubt, loneliness, regret... and though you may be older and wiser, you still find yourself scared of the dark.
Sleep. It's the easiest thing to do. You just... close your eyes. But for so many of us, sleep seems out of our grasp. We want it, but, we don't know how to get it. But once we face our demons, face our fears, and turn to each other for help, night time is not so scary, because we realize, we are not all alone in the dark."

make it right
"It happens, people make mistakes. You know, they sleep with the wrong person and they hide it, but if you ask me, it’s the part that comes after that matters - the part where you make it right.”

the fight
"You didn't invent the contest....The contest is a lion fight. So chin up, put your shoulders back, walk proud, strut a little. Don't lick your wounds. Celebrate. The scars you bear are the sign of a competitor. You're in a lion's fight. Just because you didn't win doesn't mean you don't know how to roar."
Richard Webber, Grey's Anatomy Season 4 Episode 12
