Social Capital

Social capital
refers to connections within and between social networks. It shares the core idea "that social networks have value". It is the
collective value of all 'social networks' and the inclinations that arise from these networks to do things for each other.

In simple terms, social capital is the value of your friendships and the amount of support and help you can get should you require.
