There are five stages of grief. They look different on all of us but there are always five.
- Denial: This can't be happening, it just can't!
- Anger: This isn't fair! I want to hurt what did this to me!
- Bargaining: I would give anything to undo this!
- Depression: Why do I even go on?
- Acceptance: This has happened, and I can get over it.
